WHAT JUMPBAIT PROCESSES
JUMPBAIT stores game progress, settings, run statistics, queued events, intro status, a random installation ID and this privacy acknowledgement locally on your device.
During the beta, pseudonymous playtest telemetry may be sent to Supabase. It may include a random installation ID, which Supabase hashes upon receipt before storing it; random page-session, run and event IDs; event sequence and time; launch and first-input progress; source or campaign attribution, distribution and test class; level progress, attempts, deaths and causes, rewinds, restarts, jumps, timings and completed levels; and viewport and screen sizes, pixel ratio, orientation, device language, touch capability, user agent, game version, build ID and release channel. Supabase does not store the raw installation ID, and any referrer is reduced to its hostname; paths and query parameters are not sent. Feedback and ratings are processed only when you voluntarily choose to submit them.
JUMPBAIT does not intentionally collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts or advertising ID.
HOSTING AND RECIPIENTS
Vercel hosts the web beta and may process standard connection and security logs such as IP address, time, requested resource, browser and device information. Supabase stores the beta telemetry and submitted feedback. These providers act as service providers for Pagivo Games.
After this notice has been acknowledged, Vercel Web Analytics measures page views and visitor counts on jumpbait.com. It may process the URL path without query parameters or fragments, the referrer hostname, country, device type and browser. It does not run in the Android app, Poki build, local development or preview deployments.
PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS
Data is processed to provide the beta, preserve progress and settings, secure the service, find bugs, balance levels and improve JUMPBAIT. The legal bases are performance of the requested beta service and the legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the game (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Continuing records that you have been shown this notice; it is not consent to advertising or marketing tracking.
STORAGE, RETENTION AND TRANSFERS
Local data remains on your device until you clear the app or browser data. Beta telemetry and feedback are kept only as long as needed for testing, security and game improvement, then deleted or anonymised, subject to limited backup and security retention. Vercel and Supabase may process data outside the EEA using the safeguards described in their applicable data-processing terms, including standard contractual clauses where required.
COOKIES AND SIMILAR STORAGE
JUMPBAIT uses no advertising or marketing trackers. Functional local storage is used for the features described above, so no separate marketing-cookie banner is shown.
YOUR RIGHTS
Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. Requests can be made through the contact channel used to access the beta.
